The HI-Q® Fibresaver™ fiber filter provides efficient and economical recovery of good fiber from a filtrate stream. The HI-Q® Fibresaver capitalizes on advances in electron beam drilled perforated screenplates and in new rotor technologies. The HI-Q® Fibresaver is derived from the HI-Q® Fine Screen with all bearing assembly parts being interchangeable with corresponding models.
High unit capacity; low consistency, low volume rejects; efficient knot removal with minimal fiber loss; inward flow design protects rotating element and hydrofoils from damage while avoiding break-up of brittle knots; exceptional operating stability due to patented high-pulse, low profile hydrofoils; designed for continuous, remote, unattended operation.
High capacity and efficiency pressure screen for brown stock screening; can be supplied with the Stingray rotor for proven performance, or the new Luthi rotor for reduced wear and power; smallest slots in the industry; minimum good fiber loss; modular design uses the same bearing assembly as the HI-Q® Knotter and HI-Q® Rejects Separator.
Small size and footprint; very low headroom requirement; low speed rotating screening cylinder provides pumping action for high unit capacity; efficient knot separation with minimal fiber loss; fully enclosed to meet all environmental regulations; designed for continuous, remote, unattended operation; many common spares with the HI-Q® Knotters and Fine Screens.
Heavy debris (i.e. nuts, bolts, etc.) can cause damage to equipment in a mill. A DualXcluder™ Tramp Material Separator in the pulp feed line gives efficient protection against damage caused by heavy debris in pulp suspensions at consistencies up to 6%.
Power consumption may be reduced up to 50% (depending on the application); greatly reduced wear of both rotor and screen cylinder; no pinch point between rotor and screen cylinder to cause damage; less expensive rebuilds; stingray rotors can be converted to Luthi during a regular rebuild; can be installed directly in most pressure screens; suitable for nearly all pulp mill (chemical), thick stock, and OCC screens.
