The paper stock is fed through 2 parallel stock distribution headers. The stock is then sprayed in an upward direction and hits the tank roof and is exposed to the vacuum in the tank. When the stock stream hits the top of the tank, the air is efficiently separated from the fibers. The deaerated stock is collected in the lower section of the deaeration tank.
