Top-entry ball segment valve, wafer and flanged design
The wafer and flanged valves are characterised by easy installation due to their short length, low weight and small space requirements.
The unique system of a shaft with a clamping coupling was developed by Somas for backlash-free torque transmission and enables extremely precise control behaviour.
Somas ball segment valves in these nominal diameters are produced in the “top entry” version.
The shaft is seated in the housing and gland sleeve.
The seat, which is available in three different materials (PTFE, PTFE 53 and HiCo), is pressed against the ball segment by spring elements.

“The Kitz multi-way ball valves are used to distribute or reroute a wide variety of media.
There are basically two different types: one type that routes all connections on one level and another type with a connection that is rotated downwards at an angle of 90°. This is intended to make planning and installation much easier.
